Endless Lawn XVII

Here’s one from Seth. He’s got his own band (when he’s not drumming with HSPP).

Earth & Sky

The Sky hasn’t opened his ducts in days,

And Earth feels the effects.

They shut each other down, for fake smiles,

We see it plainly. The grass is dead,

Leaving nothing to create the air.

He will not cry to her.

She does not know how to help him.

But today, it will rain, and it is good.

“Good for the rhubarb,”

your grandma would say.

Life endures, and tomorrow,

we will mow the lawn.
